The Prime Minister announces the seventh edition of the National Award named after Giacomo Matteotti. The Prize is awarded to works that illustrate the ideals of brotherhood among peoples, freedom and social justice that inspired the life of Giacomo Matteotti. The Award is divided into three sections: non-fiction - can compete for the prize essay of the works of nature writers, including foreigners, living on the date of publication of this notice, published in volume for the first time in the period between 1 January 2009 and December 31, 2010, literary and theatrical - May contribute to the prize works of literary and theatrical of authors, including foreigners, living on the date of publication of this notice, published in volume or represented to the public for the first time in the period falls between 1 January 2009 and December 31, 2010; thesis - graduates can compete for the Prize, including foreigners, of any university, Italian or foreign, who have obtained licenses during the period falls between 1 January 2009 and December 31, 2010, discussing a dissertation in any discipline, the figure of Giacomo Matteotti and the ideals that inspired his life. The end of the contract is April 28, 2011 . Entries will be judged at the sole discretion of the Selection Committee, composed of Secretary General of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers of the Presidency or a manager appointed by him and six other members appointed by the President of the Council of Ministers from among leading institutional , culture, entertainment and academia.
